2016 is a great year for many of us, but it’s also the year that has led to the passing of many legends and celebrities. We had to say goodbye to David Bowie among many others and now we also have to say goodbye to another important person for the great work, Anton Yelchin.

Despite being a very young actor and a truly rising star, Anton Yelchin was still a very professional, reliable and friendly star that was always ready for some good jokes and fun. Known for playing Chekov in the new Star Trek movies, Anton Yelchin was already a fan favorite and he managed to impress the people around him unlike never before. He managed to bring an entirely new, interesting and fun take on the coveted character and  many people loved him quite a bit thanks to his charisma.

While many people were eager to see him in the new movie, Anton Yelchin was preparing to head to a rehearsal that he had on the 19th of June during the evening. Since he has never missed a rehearsal, his friends were worried and turned out to his house at around 1 AM. That was the time when the friends saw that the actor was in the driveway, unconscious and with no signs of respiration. The LAPD spokesperson told us that he exited the car then the car rolled backward which led to trauma and in the end death.

The main trait of Anton Yelchin was naive yet sweet and that has managed to land him in quite a lot of great roles throughout the years. The way he got the Chekov role was very interesting, and the fact that he maintained it through 3 entries show how important and fun the character was for the Star Trek community.

He started to work in many TV series and movies. In 2006 he entered a great role in the Alpha Dog crime thriller and the next year he actually landed the role of RDJ’s troubled pupil for the movie Charlie Bartlett. Aside from the Star Trek movies, he also played in the Like Crazy movie with Felicity Jones and he even was Mel Gibson’s son in The Beaver.

These roles were very interesting and fun for everyone, but it’s the unique attention to detail that he placed into the role of Pavel Chekov for the new Star Trek trilogy that has managed to pay off immensely here. The actor even managed to win acclaim for the humor and the innocence that he had.

As you can expect, all the cast members and even JJ Abrams were shocked by the immediate passing of the start and everyone include Paramount Pictures wanted to show their support for the star. That alone has shown how important Anton Yelchin was for the entire group and unfortunately the world is never set to be the same without him.

Even if he passed at only 27 years of age, he did manage to have a very interesting career and one filled with blockbusters as well as incredible movies. Even other people such as Tom Hiddleston were deeply appreciative and offered support to the family.

The actor was born in 1989 in Russia and the parents who were figure skaters moved to the US. As you can expect, the family is devastated and they asked for privacy.

One has to wonder though, what does Anton Yelchin leave behind at this time? He actually managed to show us a lot of talent and experience in the movie industry despite the young age. He was a very versatile, professional and talented young man who worked very hard in order to achieve his goals.

From many independent movies to TV series and other interesting roles, Anton Yelchin did manage to enter our hearts and now they are empty because he is not around us any more. He will always remain in our hearts as the perfect Chekov and one of the best actors in the Star Trek trilogy. One thing is certain, we will never forget the hard work and commitment that Anton Yelchin had and how well he played the role of Chekov. Anton Yelchin will surely be missed by all of us!
